Back when I had a B-shift sleep schedule (grad school), I craved the Art Bell Show at night. With rogue astrophysicists, ufologists, and all manner of other freaks, it was the perfect bedtime story before I drifted off to sleep. One time I woke up at 4 am to some caller saying he wanted Jesus to come back and "kick people's ass!"
I had a strange Jesus dream one time. I was standing in an unending line of people, stretching into the distance over rolling green hills under a partly cloudy sky. Far off I saw an individual talking to each person in the line, and guessed it was Jesus. Occasionally Jesus would pull out a handgun and blow someone's head off. When he got to me, he blew my head off too and I felt it flying apart. I came to, sitting at a table in a cafeteria with Jesus sitting across from me. I asked him why he shot some of us in the head and he told me that's what he did to all the "saved" people. The idea was to fool the others into thinking they were ok, and not to cause some kind of panic because they didn't get saved. Something like that. I don't know what happened to all those other people.
